Alecto Carrow is a character of J.K. Rowling franchise Harry Potter series.She is a short, ugly and mocking-cruel Death Eather. She and his brother, Amycus, did not help Voldemort after his fall but they returned to him when he rose again. She was in the top of the Tower of Astronomy when Severus Snape killed Albus Dumbledore. She was mocking him and later, she mocked Charity Burbage, Muggle Studies' Professor in Hogwarts while Dumbledore was Heaster, before Voldemort killed her in Malfoy Manor.When Voldemort took over the Minister and became Severus Snape to Heaster of Hogwarts, she replaced Charity Burbage as Muggle Studies' Professor, teaching the students how horrible the muggles are and why the wizards must enslave them. Meanwhile, her brother replaced Snape as Defense against the Dark Arts Professor, teaching the students authentic Dark Arts.Neville Longbottom rebels agains them, and they injure him but he get to scape thanks to the Room of Requirement and Aberforth Dumbledore. The students follow his example and being injured, they get to scape with Neville, and they begin to wait Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger for rebellion.When Harry and Luna Lovegood goes to the Ravenclaw Tower to look for the Ravenclaw's Diadem, Alecto, alerted by Voldemort about Harry Potter visiting the Ravenclaw Tower, calls his Master by pressing the Dark Mark in the forearm. That begins the Battle of Hogwarts. After reveal herself, Luna Lovegood, hidden under the Invisibility Cloak, defeats her with a Stupefy spell, and she remains disabled to participate in the battle.
